It’s been long 3 years, since deciding that we wanted to build and open an abattoir to reduce traveling for our deer and provide a consistent quality meat for suppliers that surpasses the traditional game market, ticking all the boxes for consumer provenance and the ultimate in year round consistency.
After much building and planning, organising and packing we set off with our team to launch at Padstow Christmas Festival 2019.
Having a great team around us has been a blessing, from everyone who works so hard for us on the farm, to old and new shearing pals, our marketing, sales and operations team and of course us, we all got stuck in for a wild 4 day of meeting people, media appointments, main stage cooking demos with our chef ambassador Alan Bird and selling out of our venison to what felt like millions of people!
It was a tremendous 4 days of teamwork and fun, we cannot thank everyone enough for joining us and celebrating the launch of West Country Premium Venison.
