Chef Ken Symons needs no introduction to Cornwall foodies and those who travel well over 200 miles whenever this chef comes out of retirement to cook his outstanding menus.
Owner of Michelin recommended Olivers in Falmouth, a place where there was an impossible waiting list for a table and food that made the restaurant one of the most silent in the county during service!
Ken cooked his famous 7 course taster menu as part of Padstow Christmas Festival and we were thrilled to supply our venison for his main course and join the evening with the West Country Premium Venison team.
Words can barely describe seeing our venison wen it came to our table, our butcher Ben was commend for outstanding butchery by Ken who exclaimed our venison as the most beautiful venison he’d ever seen and cooked with.
It was a night of Michelin level feasting and we could not have been more pleased to have our venison prepared and served by one of Cornwall, if not the UK, finest game chefs.
