You asked us….we listened! A collection only box for filling the freezer to make great family favourite meals.

We’re working hard on being able to ship frozen further, safely and easily in the future, but for now, this is collection only.

 

Your box will contain following frozen items:

2 x packs of our Quick Cook Venison Steaks 200g each

1 x pack of our Lean Mince, 500g

1 x pack of our Diced Venison, 500g

1 x pack of Venison Steak Stir-fry, 500g

 

This freezer box is for Click & Collect only from our farm in Cornwall, Nr Launceston, PL15 8QN. During checkout you will be asked to choose your preferred collection day.

The best cuts: The perfect venison steak is the strip loin, the fillet. It’s the equivalent to sirloin of beef and equally stunning with its tender fibre and delicate mouthwatering flavour.  
An alternative: For a cheaper cut with an abundance of flavour, try the top side from the haunch. Equally bursting with taste but a cheaper cut, still prepared by our butchers with the ultimate care and attention.
Slow cooked heaven: Slowly cook a piece of the neck or shoulder in a conventional oven at 150c for over 3 hours, you can also use the bottom oven of your AGA or a slow cooker. Simply remove, shred and add warm barbecue sauce for the ultimate pulled venison fajitas or paninis.
Pie perfection: Diced venison makes the perfect pie, add some stout or your favorite beer, diced carrot, onion and a little garlic and thyme. Simmer gently for 25 minutes to reduce, place in a pie dish, top with a puff pastry lid, glaze with egg wash and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
Stir it up: Use our premium steak to make yourself a premium steak and noodle mid week treat. Slice a steak into strips, marinade in soy sauce, star anise, garlic. ginger and finely chopped chilli, toss into a hot oiled wok before adding bok choi and sliced red pepper to wilt. Stir through soft egg or rice noodles and top with finely sliced spring onions to serve.

Click & Collect Details

  • We are offering Covid secure Click & Collect orders. Select this option during checkout and use the calendar provided at checkout to choose your collection date.
  • Our collection times on your chosen day are 12pm – 3pm.
  • If you require a collection time outside of that window, please call us prior to booking on 01566 86326 and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
  • Payment must be made through our website, we cannot accept payment on collection.
  • We do not have a retail shop and are not open to the public, therefore we cannot accept drop in orders. We are a busy working farm and for the safety of us all,  collections must be pre-booked to ensure a member of the team is onsite to meet you.
  • Collection directions: West Country Premium Venison, Trefranck Farm, St Clether, Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 8QN. Once arrive park in front of the large grey/white building and ring the doorbell.
